Riverside—The UC Riverside Women's Soccer Team heads to the Lone Star State this weekend in search of its first wins of the 2010 season. The Texas State Bobcats (1-2-0) are up first on Friday, September 3 at 5 pm PT, followed by a 5 pm match on Sunday against the Texas Longhorns.

Riverside—The UC Riverside Women's Volleyball Team begins the second week of competition at the San Jose State / Saint Mary's Tournament this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 3-4. The Highlanders square off against the host Spartans on Friday at 7:00 pm followed by a match against No. 14 UCLA in San Jose on Saturday at 10:00 am. The team concludes the weekend with a 7:00 pm match at Saint Mary's College on Saturday at 7:00 pm in Moraga, CA.

Each year the UC Riverside men's and women's cross country teams train at high altitude at Mammoth Mountain, CA in preparation for the new season.
