Lauren Reid Finishes Eighth, Allison Wilder Twelfth At USA Nationals

Des Moines- IA—UC Riverside's Lauren Reid (left) finished in eighth place in the triple jump and teammate Allison Wilder finished 12th at the 2010 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships Thursday evening. Reid's best leap came on her second jump of the day as she cleared 13.04m (42' 9.00"). Wilder's best attempt also came on her second jump as she leaped 12.83m (42' 1.00").

Des Moines, IA—UC Riverside's Allison Wilder (pictured) and Lauren Reid (pictured) are off to Des Moines, Iowa next week for the 2010 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Peter Guenther joins them as he takes part in the 2010 USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Drake Stadium on the campus of Drake University is host to events which run from June 23-27.

Brenda Martinez Earns Third-Career All-American Honor

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Monday the 428 student-athletes that received USTFCCCA All-America honors in NCAA Division I following this weekends championship meet. UC Riverside's two-time All-American Brenda Martinez earned her third-career All-American distinction after her finish in the 1500m on Saturday.
