Volleyball Opens 2010 Season Friday At Fresno State Classic (push play)
Riverside—The UC Riverside Women's Volleyball Team opens the 2010 season with three matches at the Fresno State Classic this Friday and Saturday, August 27 and 28 in Fresno, CA. The Highlanders play the host Bulldogs on Friday at 7 pm (live stats) followed by matches against #20 Oregon (live stats) on Saturday at 10 am and Santa Clara (live stats) at 5 pm later that day.

UC Riverside Announces 2010 Promotions For Volleyball And Soccer
The UC Riverside Athletics Department announced its promotions for the 2010 fall season for the sports of volleyball and men's and women's soccer. Promotions include youth jersey nights, faculty and staff appreciations, student giveaways, and a costume contest at the Oct. 31 volleyball match. Also new this year is a promotion just for undergraduate students at UC Riverside. By attending four of UCR's biggest men's and women's soccer games this fall, students could win a new iPad!.

The UC Riverside women's volleyball team was selected to finish tied for eighth in Big West Conference play this season according to the 2010 Big West Preseason Coaches Poll that was released earlier this morning.
