Chula Vista, CA - Heading into the second round of play tied for second at the Aztec Fall Classic at Salt Creek Golf Course on Tuesday, the Highlanders women's golf team lowered their team score by four strokes but still finished the tournament tied for second with Cal Poly. Junior
Natalie Guidry (pictured) led the contingent of UCR golfers with identical scores of 75 to tie for fourth individually.

UCR shot 307-303 for a 610 team total as they posted four rounds in the 70s on the second day. Guidry's fourth place finish and 75.0 stroke average are both career-bests.
Freshman
Amelia Ek fired rounds of 74-77 to finish tied for fifth place while senior
Alexandra Erdman placed 10th after carding an 80 and team-low 73 on Tuesday. Sophomore
Denyse Neville finished 12th after shooting identical 78s, while
Tiffany Koyano tied for 29th with scores of 85-85.
Playing as individuals, freshman
Helen Chung tied for 27th firing rounds of 81-87, while
Esther Chung placed 33rd with scores of 85-86.
Big West opponent Cal State Northridge won the team title with a 595 tally, while Cal Poly and UCR tied for second, host San Diego State's "B" team finished fourth with a 622 score, and CSU Bakersfield placed fifth at 659.
Cal State Northridge's Ashlee Nagamine won the individual title on the first playoff hole with a birdie putt over Cal Poly's Maddy Fletcher.
The Highlanders have just one tournament remaining on their fall docket as they travel to Arroyo Grande, CA on Nov. 1-2 for the Cal Poly Invite.
First Round
Chula Vista, CA - The UC Riverside women's golf team returned to the links on Monday morning, and after the first round of play at the Aztec Fall Classic at Salt Creek Golf Course, the Highlanders find themselves tied for second place with a 307 score.
The team is just six strokes back of the leader, Cal State Northridge at 301, as the tournament concludes with an 18-hole shotgun on Tuesday morning.
Freshman
Amelia Ek shot a two-over-par 74 for the Highlanders and is tied for second place along with three others individuals. Maddy Fletcher of Cal Poly is current individual clubhouse leader with a two-under-par 70.
Junior
Natalie Guidry (pictured) finished one stroke back of her teammate at three-over-par 75 and is tied for sixth, while
Denyse Neville is UCR's third top-10 finisher as she carded a 78 to tie for ninth.
Senior
Alexandra Erdman fired an 80 and is tied for 14th, while
Tiffany Koyano is tied for 28th shooting 85.
Playing as individuals,
Helen Chung shot 81 to tie for 18th, while her sister
Esther Chung shot 85 to tie for 28th.
