Women's Tennis: Day Two At ITA West Regionals

San Diego, CA - Members of the Highlanders women's tennis team competed on day two of the ITA West Regionals in San Diego. Complete Day One Results
After dropping their opening round matches on Thursday, Roxanne Plata (pictured) and Taylor Raney competed in the consolation bracket on Friday. In singles play, Plata fell to Jane Huh of Arizona 6-1, 6-3 and Raney was defeated 6-4, 6-3 by Lyndsay Kinstler of USC.
Teaming up in doubles action, the pair of Plata/Raney were not enough for the tandem from Long Beach State as they fell 8-2 to Jeczmionka/Luzar.
The tournament continues through the weekend.
