Men's Basketball To Host Youngstown State In ESPN BracketBuster Feb. 20

ESPN announced the pairings today for the 2010 ESPN BracketBuster games, and the Highlanders will host the
Penguins of Youngstown State on February 20 at 6:00 pm.
Head Coach Jerry Slocum is in his fifth season at the Penguins helm and 35th overall as a collegiate head coach. Over that time he has amassed a record of 621-403 with stops at Division II Nyack (199-166), NAIA Geneva (202-81) and Division II Gannon (179-78). He is 49-90 at Youngstown State.
The Penguins are
8-13 overall in 2009-10 and 2-9 in the Horizon League having lost five of their last six games. DeAndre Mays is the leading scorer for the Penguins averaging 13.8 points per game. He poured in 27 in a
77-69 road loss at Cleveland State on Saturday.
Last season, the Highlanders picked up a 53-52 road win over San Jose State in their BracketBuster match up.
UC Riverside hosts Cal State Northridge on Thursday, February 4 at the Student Recreation Center. Tip is scheduled for 7 pm.
