Women's Tennis Drops 7-0 Decision To #46 Long Beach State

Riverside, CA - The UC Riverside women's tennis team opened Big West Conference play on Friday afternoon with a 7-0 loss to No. 46 ranked Long Beach State at the SRC Tennis Complex.

The Highlanders dropped the doubles point to begin the match and needed to win four of the six singles matches for the win. Even though UCR was unable to pick up a point, four of the matches were closely contested, with three of them going into the third set.

UC Riverside returns to action on Friday, Feb 26 as they host CSU Bakersfield at 2:00 pm at the SRC Tennis Complex.
