Chris Patton Named To Big West All-Conference Honorable Mention Team

Irvine, CA—The Big West announced today that UC Riverside's Chris Patton was named to the All-Conference, Honorable Mention Team.
The junior center finished 14th in the league in scoring (13.5) and fourth in field goal percentage (54.2), leading the Highlanders in both categories. In conference games only, Patton averaged 15.2 points per game and made 60.5 percent of his field goal attempts which ranked 10th and second in the Big West respectively.
Patton recorded 20 double-digit scoring performances, and five games of 20 or more points, including a career-high 36 vs. Cal State Fullerton on February 9. His 36 points were also the fifth highest single-game scoring total in the history of the program.
The Australian native's first career double-double came on February 28 in a 14-point, 10-rebound effort against UC Davis. Patton led the team in scoring on 16 occasions, and in rebounding nine times.
