Cabe Flesher Hired As General Manager Of UC Riverside Athletics

Riverside—Nelligan Sports Marketing (NSM) and UC Riverside announced today that Cabe Flesher has been hired as the general manager for UC Riverside Athletics. Flesher comes to the Highlanders after previously serving in the same role at UC Santa Barbara for three years.
As part of the recently announced partnership between NSM and UC Riverside Athletics, Flesher will handle all aspects of the corporate partnership program, and is tasked with increasing revenue through business sponsorships.
“We are excited to have Cabe join our team," said UC Riverside Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Brian Wickstrom. "We believe his experiences will be valuable as we look to continue increasing our revenue streams and program exposure regionally.”
Flesher brings more than a decade worth of local, regional and national sponsorship sales experience with him. Prior to his arrival at UCSB, Flesher served as a corporate sales account executive with the Golden State Warriors of the NBA and had stints in the Arena Football League and Minor League Baseball in the Pacific Coast League.
“I look forward to being a member of the Highlanders, and assisting the program as it continues to build momentum," said Flescher. "This program is set up very well right now for both short term and long term success. Brian and the staff here have already made tremendous strides over the last few years, and being so close to the LA market I think can really benefit us with potential sponsors."
