Riverside Sports Complex
The home of UC Riverside baseball is the Riverside Sports Complex. "The Plex" is used for all UCR practices and games, as well as several high school events.
Located at the corner of Blaine and Rustin Streets, the stadium has a beautiful view of the nearby Box Springs Mountains and seats 2,500 fans.
The field was the site of the NCAA Division II College World Series from 1980 to 1984, and was the home of the Riverside Pilots and Riverside Red Wave of the California League.
Several improvements were made during the 2007 season, including a home team locker room along the left field line, constructed by former Highlanders' standout Troy Percival, and a statue of the old UCR bear logo near the entrance to the facility.
In 2015, The Plex received a fresh coat of paint, as the outfield walls and dugouts were transformed from green to blue. Protective screens were put into place in front of each dugout in 2017, with additional stadium improvements still on the horizon.
In 2025 more enhancements were added. A padded wall was installed in the outfield and behind the plate. Graphics on the right field wall pays tribute to the history of UC Riverside baseball and features images of the 19 Highlander players who saw time at the Major League level.
The stadium features excellent home team locker facilities, and has a pair of hitting cages located underneath the grandstands. Dimensions of the field are 330' down the lines, 380' to the alleys and 400' to center field.
