Cathy Moore helped lead the Highlanders to the 1982 NCAA Division II Volleyball championship setting an NCAA playoff record for most kill attempts in a match that same season. She was named to two All-Region teams during her time at UC Riverside, and later played volleyball professionally in Italy.
