UC Riverside Athletics

David Finley played two years of baseball at UC Riverside, but left a lasting impact on the program in his short time in the Inland Empire. 

Finley was a starter for long-time head coach and fellow UCR Hall of Famer Jack Smitheran in 1986 and 1987, posting the sixth-highest single-season batting average (.413) in program history. 

Finley is currently the Vice President, Scouting for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
