Howard Lee led the UC Riverside men's basketball team to CCAA Basketball titles in 1970 and ’72 and a third place finish in the 1970 NCAA Division II National Tournament. He was named the 1970 College Division Player of the Year by the Southern California Basketball Writers. At the concluson of his UC Riverside career, he was the Highlanders leading scorer and rebounder.
