In Kerry Howell-Younglove's four years on the UC Riverside Volleyball Team, the Highlanders finished second twice and won the AIAW National Championship in 1977. She was named All-Tournament on two occasions during national championship play, and continued her career on the USVBA Senior Circuit, playing on the national championship team in 1986 while earning Second-Team All-America honors.
