Larry Cunningham '08 is the all-time scoring leader for Highlander Men's Basketball with 1,502 points following a terrific four-year career in the Inland Empire. Cunningham was a two-time All-Big West honoree in his time with UC Riverside and was named the conference's Sixth Man of the Year as a freshman. He earned two Big West Player of the Week honors in his career.

Cunningham was the Highlanders' leading scorer twice in his illustrious career, averaging 16.3 points as a senior in 2007-08 on his way to being named to the Big West All-Tournament Team. Cunningham additionally led UCR in points (13.7) and rebounds (4.7) as a junior.

Cunningham also ranks in the top 10 in career games played (117), games started (79), field goals made (518), free throws made (320), defensive rebounds (335) and steals (123).

One of his most memorable games came as a redshirt freshman in 2005 against UC Irvine, when he stepped up after senior leader Vili Morton was unable to play due to injury. He scored a season-high 29 points, including 15 straight in the first half, to help the Highlanders get their first Big West win of the season.
