UC Riverside Athletics

Leanne Miner-Ulmer starred in basketball, volleyball and softball for the Highlanders and was named UC Riverside's Female Athlete of the Year in 1977-78 and 1978-79. She led the basketball team in scoring four straight seasons and played on UCR's AIAW College Division Volleyball Championship Team in 1977. She would later play for the New York Stars of the Women’s Professional Basketball Association during the 1979-’80 season.
