Sharon DeHayes was a four-year starter for the Highlanders in softball, basketball and tennis. A third baseman and shortstop on the softball team, she also played point guard on the UCR basketball team and helped lead them to an AIAW Regional Championship in 1973. DeHayes was the number one singles player in tennis for the Highlanders, and played in the 1972 AIAW National Tournament.
