Katy Daly Named Big West Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week

Irvine, CA - UC Riverside freshman Katy Daly has been named the Big West Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week, as announced by the Conference office this afternoon.
Daly picked up her first-ever Athlete of the Week award with a solid showing at the adidas Notre Dame Invitational last weekend, where she finished the 5K course in 17:47, good for 75th place in the tough field of 178 runners and the top showing for the UCR women.
This is UCR's second Big West Athlete of the Week accolade on the season as men's cross country runner Chad Hall was named Athlete of the Week back on Sept. 23.
