SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Sam He sits tied for 13th at even par after 36 holes at the Sandpiper Golf Club, where the UC Riverside men's golf team found itself in 10th place (+52) at the end of two rounds on Monday in the UC Santa Barbara Collegiate.

He, a senior, carded the best round for UCR on the day followed by freshman Eric Cho, who goes into Tuesday ties for 23rd at 3-over. Jordan Sams (56, +22) is one stroke in front of teammate and
Bahram Talle at 27-over..

Boise State leads the event after Monday's action at 11-under par, anchored by golfer Hugo Townsend, who is in second place individually at 5-under.

The Highlanders will tee off their third round starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the 10th hole. Weather is expected to remain cool but comfortable at Sandpiper.
