Three Highlanders recognized with postseason All-Big West distinction

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – UC Riverside earned a trio of Big West all-conference honors on Tuesday, it was announced by the conference.

AJ Meade-Tatum and Luka Lukic were named All-Big West Second Team, while Oscar Emilio Trujillo Lizarraga was named All-Freshman.

Lukic ranked 12th in Big West play with 0.89 shots on goal per contest and six points. He ranked sixth overall in the Big West with 2.19 shots per game, eighth with 14 points and 10th overall with 1.13 shots on goal.

Meade-Tatum started all 16 matches on the back line for UCR. The Palos Verdes, Calif., native logged a full 90 minutes in 12 of his 16 appearances while recording seven shots overall and logging an assist in the Highlanders' 2-0 senior night win over UC Santa Barbara.

Lizarraga mirrored Meade-Tatum's stat line perfectly as the only freshman to start all 16 matches for UC Riverside. He played 90 minutes in 12 of his 16 appearances, recording seven shots while adding an assist on senior night.
