RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Today, UC Riverside released its 2025 men's soccer schedule. This fall the Highlanders will play 17 matches, plus two scrimmages. Ten of those matches will be played at the UC Riverside Soccer Stadium.

The first exhibition match the Highlanders will travel to UCLA and then will host Cal State LA.

The Highlanders start the season on the road heading to Michigan to take on Michigan State (Aug. 21) and Michigan (Aug. 24). The last time the Highlanders played the Spartans and the Wolverines was back in 2018.

"This is the first season in multiple years that we have a consistent non-conference home schedule," said UCR head coach Tim Cupello. "We are excited to connect with the community in order to make these home events something that the entire Riverside soccer community will rally around."

The first home match for UCR will be on September 1 when the Highlanders take on Air Force. Last season, the Highlanders blanked the Falcons, 2-0.

October 1, UCR welcomes CSUN to campus for the Big West Conference opener. Other conference opponents the Highlanders will host include UC San Diego, Cal Poly and Cal State Bakersfield. The Highlanders end the season on the road against UC Irvine on November 1.

"The Big West Conference continues to be an extremely competitive conference," added Cupello. "With two NCAA tournament participants last fall, and a three point difference in the standings between first place and 6th place, we know every single game is important. Every member of our team and staff will need to be locked in on a daily basis."

The Big West Conference Tournament starts on November 5, with the championship game slated for November 15.
