RIVERSIDE, Calif. — UC Riverside cross country coaches
Nate Browne and
Zach Newsom have announced the 2025 fall schedule for the Highlanders.
UCR will compete in six meets this fall, including two home events on the Highlanders' Ag/Ops Course.
The Highlanders open the season on Friday, August 29, with a trip to Big Bear to take on UCLA at elevation, a unique season-opening challenge for both squads.
UC Riverside returns to action two weeks later at the CSUSM Cougar Challenge in San Marcos on Saturday, September 13, before hosting the UCR Invitational on Saturday, September 27th, one of two home meets this season.
October begins with a trip to Eugene, Oregon, for the Dellinger Invitational on Friday, October 10, one of the premier meets in the Pacific Northwest. UCR then returns home to host the annual Highlander Invitational on Saturday, October 18.
The postseason begins on Friday, October 31, with the Big West Championship hosted by Hawai'i. Two weeks later, the Highlanders will head to Sacramento for the NCAA West Regional on Friday, November 14.
