UC Riverside Director of Track & Field Irv Ray announced today that Eleanor Roosevelt High School graduate Bryan Adams will run for the Highlanders beginning this spring.

The Corona, CA native boasts a personal best of 21.82 in the 200m and 47.95 in the 400m, and also has a wind-aided 21.13 in the 200m on his résumé.

He was a member of the Mustang's 4x100m relay team that ran a 41.84 last season, and the 4x400m team which posted the second best time in the state and seventh fastest in the nation at 3:14.22.

"Bryan is a stellar athlete, comes from a strong high school program and we are excited he chose UC Riverside to continue his track & field and academic career," said Ray. "He is tailor-made for our program, and will easily step into the top group in the Big West in both the 200m & 400m. His signing also ensures that our 4x400m relay team will remain strong into the foreseeable future."
