UCR To Host Big West Conference Championships On Saturday, Oct. 31

For the second time in as many years, and for the fifth time since the Highlanders joined the Big West Conference in 2001, UC Riverside's Ag/Ops Course will play host to the Big West Cross Country Championships on October 31 with the women's race beginning at 9:45 am PT.
A year ago, the Highlanders won their first-ever Big West Championship behind All-Conference performances by Cristina Olivas and Brenda Martinez (both pictured). UC Riverside will look to repeat as champions in 2009.
Tickets are just $5 for fans ages six and above; Big West students with ID and fans ages five and below are free. For more information please visit the Big West Championship page.
