The UC Riverside Men's Soccer Team, helmed by Head Coach Junior Gonzalez (pictured), was one of five programs recognized Wednesday afternoon as Big West Fall Sportsmanship Award winners.

Conference Commissioner Dennis Farrell made the announcement honoring the Highlanders in men's soccer; UC Irvine in women's soccer, women's volleyball and men's cross country; and Cal State Fullerton in women's cross country.

The Sportsmanship Award is voted upon by the respective student-athletes in each of the Big West's 18 championship sports.
