UC Riverside's Peter Guenther Finishes 14th At USA Junior Championships

UC Riverside's freshman hurdler Peter Guenther finished in 14th place over the weekend at the USA Junior Championships finishing fourth in his 400m hurdle heat with a time of 55.44.
"This was Peter's first experience on such a high-level stage, and I thought he handled it pretty well," said Assistant Coach Andrew Basler. "Even though he was disappointed in the outcome, he now has first-hand knowledge of what it takes to be a top-flight track athlete, and he can build on that experience during the offseason to come back even more prepared for next year."
