Women's Tennis To Face Titans Thursday In BWC Play-In Game

Indian Wells, CA—The UC Riverside women's tennis team is gearing up for the Big West Championship this week, and has its sites set on a rematch with Cal State Fullerton on Thursday, April 26 at 3:00 pm at Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
The play-in game between seeds eight and nine will determine who advances to the quarterfinals on Friday, April 27 vs. #1 seed Long Beach State.
The Titans defeated the Highlanders by the slimmest of margins, 4-3, on April 19. (Watch the recap video).
Cal State Fullerton has knocked UC Riverside out of the Big West Tournament in each of the past two years. In 2009, however, UCR advanced to the quarterfinals after earning a 5-0 win against CSF.
