Hayden Leslie Named Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport Of The Month

Riverside—Anheuser-Busch has teamed up with the UC Riverside Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and chosen men's soccer athlete Hayden Leslie as its October recipient of the "Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport of the Month." Leslie, a key defender in the back line, helped the Highlanders allow only nine goals in the first nine matches this season. His leadership and defensive prowess also earned him Big West Defensive Player of the Week honors for August 26-September 3 (recap).
In addition to his defensive performance, Leslie scored a header in the Highlanders 2-1 victory over UNLV in late September (box score/recap/highlight video).
