Kayla White Named Budweiser Responsiblity Matters Good Sport Of The Month

Riverside—Anheuser-Busch has teamed up with the UC Riverside Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and chosen softball player Kayla White as its June recipient of the "Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport of the Month." White hit a team-best .571 during the month of May, going 12-for-21 at the plate with five runs, three doubles, one triple, a home run, and three RBI. Her slugging percentage was .952 with an on base percentage of .591.
The Big West Conference honored White with her third straight All-Big West Conference First Team accolade on May 14. The senior outfielder led the league in batting average and triples while ranking second in slugging percentage, hits, and total bases.
In conference-only games, White was the top performer in batting average, slugging percentage, on base percentage, hits, and total bases.
