We here at gohighlanders.com got to know her a little better this summer via our Highlander Highlights series.

Briana ...
... is from Moreno Valley, CA
... has maintained a 4.0 or higher grade point average since the sixth grade
... plans on majoring in linguistics
... plays soccer in her free time
               ... has four dogs
... won't eat onions or garlic
If Briana could witness any event, she would want to see how her parents fell in love.
A few years ago, Briana won a free trip to South Africa for a week to watch the South Africa vs. Uruguay 2010 World Cup.
Briana's favorite quote is "It's the littlest things that make the biggest difference."
Her worst injury came when she sprained her MCL during a soccer match.
One thing she loves about herself is that she is very competitive, and strives to be the best at everything she does.
Keep your eyes peeled all year long for additional Highlander Highlights, and get to know more about the current crop of UC Riverside's student-athletes.
To support Briana and the rest of the student-athletes that make up our 17 intercollegiate sports, please donate to the UC Riverside Athletics Association by visiting the Association's web site.
