Highlands Ranch, CO—After three days of golf at Highlands Ranch Golf Club, the UC Riverside Women's Golf Team finished in 12th at the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate.(

Jakeishya Le was the top finisher for UCR, having carded her second one-over par 73 of the tournament resulting in a tie for 27th.
Denver's Sophie Newlove (-6) won individual medalists honors, with Pepperdine's Hira Naveed (-4), and Tatiana Wijaya (-3) in second and third respectively.
UC Riverside started the day five shots off the pace of the top-5, but their final round charge came up short as they were unable to match their second round total (294) to move up the team leaderboard.
The Waves held on the their two-day lead to claim the team title at -10. Tournament hosts Denver finished second at -6, and Kentucky jumped up to third after shooting the team round of the event, an 11-under par 277 in the final 18 to finish +7.
The Highlanders return to action October 23-25 in the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown.
