Men's Golf Moves Up To Finish 12th In The Aggie Invitational

Bryan,TX—The UC Riverside Men's Golf Team moved up one spot in the final round to finish 12th in the Aggie Invitational at the Traditions Golf Club Sunday.
The team title was won by #12 Oklahoma State with a three-round total of 864, E. #18 LSU, who started the final round third, shot a team seven under par final round to claim second at +2, and #23 Arkansas moved up from fourth to finish third at +11.
The individual title was shared by Oklahoma State's Kristoffer Ventura and Arkansas' Alvaro Ortizto with a three day total of 212, -4.Chase Johnson of Kent State matched the low round of the day with a three-under 69 to finish one shot back of the leaders at -3.
Matt Lutz (+8) was UCR's top finisher in a tie for 26th, with a 224 three-round total, and Sam Gillis (+14) finished T53 after having his best round the tournament, an even par 72 (final results)
The Highlanders will play in their final tune up before the Big West Championships on April 15-17 in the El Macero Classic.
