Riverside—The UC Riverside Softball Team exploded for 10 runs in the bottom of the fifth inning Sunday morning, turning a 4-2 deficit into a 12-4 victory over visiting Siena at the Amy S. Harrison Classic.

It was the fourth win in five games for the Highlanders who improved to 5-7. Siena fell to 0-11 with the loss.

UC Riverside starter Jacy Boles allowed just one hit through three innings of work, and handed the game over to Haley Marschall in the fourth with the score tied at zero.

Marschall struggled over her 1.1 innings of work giving up seven hits and walking one as Siena scored one run in the fourth and two in the fifth.
