Women's Golf Finishes 13th In The Gold Rush At Old Ranch Country Club In Seal Beach

Seal Beach–The UC Riverside Women's Golf Team finished 13th in the Gold Rush at Old Ranch Country Club.

Hannah Facchini shot the top round on the team with an even par 72 in round two. She also was the top UCR finisher in a tie for 25th at +10, one shot ahead of teammate Jakeishya Le in 31st at +11 for the tournament.

#50 San Jose State won the team title by 11 strokes over #31 BYU, and 14 ahead of Idaho, who shot the best team round of the championship (286, -2) to move up to third ahead of host Long Beach State in fourth.

Sophie Haussman fired the low individual round of the Gold Rush with a seven under par 65 in the final 18 to earn medalist honors.

UCR Women's Golf heads to Flagstaff, AZ this weekend to play Red Rocks Invitational March 4-5.
