Fresno, CA–Jakeishya Le shot a final round one under par 71, and the UC Riverside Women's Golf Team shaved seven strokes off its previous rounds as both finished second in place–Le alone, the team with a share.
Le begin the day in second at -2, two back of #15 ranked Martina Edberg from Cal State Fullerton. Le shot a one-under par 71 in a final round that featured four birdies, including a four on the par 5 18th.
Le would finish runner-up behind Edberg, who shot even par to earn medalist honors.
Hannah Facchini also found her way into the top-10 carding her second even par 72 over the final 18 holes in Fresno to finish tied for 7th.
UCR, who posted a pair of 300s in the first two rounds, cut seven shots off the day one average to move up from third into a tie for second along with Cal Poly and event host Fresno State.
Nevada charged up the team leaderboard from fifth to claim the team title on the strength of firing the the tournament's best round a team two-over par 290.
The Women's Golf Team is off for the next three weeks, and will resume play at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic April 6-7.
