Men's Golf Finishes 16th At The ASU Thunderbird Invitational

Tempe, AZ–After three rounds of play were completed in the ASU Thunderbird Invitational, the UC Riverside Men's Golf Team finished 16th. (final results)
Sam Gillis was the top finisher for the Highlanders in a tie for 60th, just one stroke ahead of Andrew Spilman alone in 62nd. Pachara Sakulyong had the round of the day for UCR, carding a two-over 73 in his final 18 holes in Tempe.
Tournament host Arizona State finished 20 shots clear of second place UNLV in claiming the team title. The SunDevils' B Team finished in third. California' s Collin Morikawa shot a final round two-under par 69 to capture medalist honors.
The Highlanders will take over three weeks off before returning to the course April 13-14 in the UC Davis hosted El Macero Classic.
