
Men's Golf Finishes 11th At The Pepperdine Waves Challenge

Somis, CA—The UC Riverside Men's Golf Team finished 11th place at the Pepperdine Waves Challenge, Tuesday. Tyler Moore charted his second best career finish, tying for 16th in the tournament.Â

TOURNAMENT NOTES
Tyler Moore led the Highlanders and tied for 16th overall with a score of 77-80-74=231, logging his second best career finish. Moore charted his career best finish on Sept. 26, 2017 at the Colorado Invitational, finishing in third (Recap).Â
Moore led the Highlanders on Par 5s tying for 10th overall at -3. His best holes were the Pars, logging 32 pars over the course's 54Â holes and tying for seventh overall.
Tyler Moore and Brandon Tsujimoto both tied for ninth on Par 4s at +9. Tsujimoto shot 31 pars and tied 11th for overall pars.
In is first tournament of the 2017-18 season, Senior Luke Park led the Highlanders with seven birdies, tying for 14th in birdies overall.
Andrew Spilman led the Highlanders on the Par 3's, tying for 20th overall at +4.
The Highlanders'Â best holes were the Par 4s shooting +73, and the Pars with 131, scoring seventh overall in the tournament in both categories. UCR also came in seventh overall in birdies, charting 28 over the three rounds.
