Men's Tennis Picks Up Rain-Delayed 5-2 Win Over Loyola Marymount

The UC Riverside Men's Tennis Team needed more than 24 hours to do it, but they finally beat Loyola Marymount, 5-2, Saturday afternoon in a match that actually began on Friday afternoon, but was postponed part of the way through due to rain.

The Highlanders won the doubles point as their No. 2 (John Park and Yi Chai) and No. 3 (Qouc Doan and Raineir Matias) Doubles teams posted identical 8-5 decisions over their Lions counterparts.

Doan and Chai also both picked up straight set wins at No. 3 and No. 6 Singles respectively while Park needed three sets to earn the win at No. 2 Singles and Austin Andres battled back from a 6-1 first-set loss to win the final two sets of his No. 5 Singles match by a 7-5, 6-4 score.
