Boston College Nabs 6-1 Victory Over Men's Tennis

Riverside, CA - Taking a break from Big West Conference play, the UC Riverside men's tennis team squared off against Boston College on Wednesday afternoon at the SRC Tennis Complex. After a rain delay, the teams took to the courts, but the Eagles came away with the 6-1 victory.
UCR picked up a win in the doubles matches but could not steal the point as Boston College won the other two. In singles, UCR's Quoc Doan defeated Adam Davison 7-5, 6-1 at the fifth spot to take home the only Highlander point on the night. Two other Highlander matches went the distance, but neither John Park nor Austin Andres could win the coveted third set.
UCR hits the road for matches against Utah and Weber State on Saturday-Sunday, March 7-8 at 3:00 pm and 9:00 am respectively.
