Men's Tennis Concludes Season with 4-0 Loss at Big West Championships

Indian Wells, CA - The #6 seed UC Riverside men's tennis team closed out their 2009 season with a 4-0 loss to #3 seed Cal Poly at the Big West Tennis Championships at Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Friday morning.
The duo of Austin Andres and Quoc Doan picked up a victory at the No. 3 doubles spot with an 8-6 defeat of Nick Berger and Blake Wardman, but the Mustangs garnered wins at the top two spots to capture the coveted doubles point.
In singles play, Cal Poly earned victories at the No. 6, 5, and 1 spots to claim the sweep over the Highlanders. UCR concludes their season with a 5-18 overall record.
