Martinez, Hall, Williams All Advance To Finals Of NCAA West Regional

UC Riverside's Brenda Martinez got the Highlanders off on the right foot Friday afternoon at the NCAA West Regional in Eugene, Oregon when the junior won her prelim heat on the 1500m with a time of 4:22.16. The finals are scheduled for Saturday at 1:50 pm PT.
In the men's 1500m sophomore Chad Hall advanced to the finals finishing fourth in his heat with a time of 3:48.57. Saturday's final is scheduled for 2:00 pm.
Later in the day Ashley Williams advanced to the finals in the 800m with a career-best time of 2:07.73. Saturday's final is set for 2:55 pm.
