Hall Named Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport Of The Month

Riverside—Anheuser-Busch has teamed up with the UC Riverside Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and chosen men's cross country runner Chad Hall as the October recipient of the "Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport of the Month." In the Highlanders first meet of the season, the junior from Big Bear, CA won his third career race while establishing a personal best 6k time of 19:49 at the Nevada Twilight Classic on Sept. 3. He helped the team to a second place finish behind nationally ranked No. 1 Stanford, and was later named Big West Conference Athlete of the Week for his accomplishments.
At the UC Riverside Invitational on Sept. 18, Hall finished fourth overall in 24:13.0 to lead UCR to a second place finish behind No. 16 BYU. Hall was again named Big West Athlete of the Week for his performance. Watch the highlight video from the UCR Invitational.
