First Place Teams Battle On Saturday In Women's Basketball

Game Notes - UC Riverside at Cal Poly
The UC Riverside women’s basketball team heads to Cal Poly on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 4:00 pm looking to extend its winning streak to five straight. Both teams are currently tied for first place in the standings with identical 8-3 Big West records.
Fans not able to attend the game may listen to the play-by-play live as the Voice of the Highlanders, Ghizal Hasan, calls the game beginning at 3:55 pm.
The Mustangs are coming off a loss at Long Beach State on Thursday and are 2-2 in their past four games. Kristina Santiago leads the squad with 19.3 points per game and 8.1 rebounds per game.
The Highlanders are coming off a 60-54 overtime on Thursday and are led in scoring by identical 12.5 points per game from juniors Alyssa Morris and Rhaya Neabors (pictured). Morris’ 6.4 rebounds per game also leads the team.
