Matadors Sweep UCR Women's Tennis 7-0 In Big West Play

Northridge, CA - The UC Riverside women's tennis team returned to Big West Conference play on Thursday afternoon at Cal State Northridge, but the Matadors got the best of the Highlanders with a 7-0 sweep.
CSUN earned the doubles point by sweeping the three singles matches and proceeded to win all six singles matches. Angelique Corpuz took her match to the third frame before eventually falling 1-6, 6-2, 11-9.
The Highlanders have two weeks off before continuing Big West play at Cal Poly on Saturday, Apr. 17 at 11:00 am.
