Highlanders Release 2010 Men's And Women's Cross Country Schedules

UC Riverside Head Cross Country Coach Irv Ray announced today the Highlanders Men’s and Women’s Cross Country schedules for the 2010 season. Similar to the last two years, UCR will host two races in Riverside as they will compete in their own invitational as well as the Big West Championship. Download cross country schedule wallpaper.
The Highlanders open the season at the Nevada Twilight Invitational in Reno, NV on Friday, Sept. 3 at 6:00 pm.
Both teams then head home to host the 30th Annual UCR Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19 at the UCR Agricultural Operations Course. The women’s 5k begins at 7:30 am with the men’s 8k at 8:15 am.
UC Riverside then travels to Willamette, OR for the Willamette Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 10:00 am. The Highlanders return to the Golden State for one final tune-up before the conference invitational, as they will run in the Northridge Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 8:00 am.
The Big West Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championship returns to UCR’s Ag Ops Course on Saturday, Oct. 30 for the third straight year. The men’s race begins at 9:00 am with the women’s race following at 9:45 am.
