Highlanders Host League-Leading Mustangs Saturday At 7 PM

Game Notes - UC Riverside vs. Cal Poly
The UC Riverside women’s basketball team will look to rebound from two straight losses as it hosts league-leading Cal Poly this Saturday, February 19 at 7:00 pm at the Student Recreation Center.
Fans who are unable to attend the game may follow all of the action as the Voice of the Highlanders, Ghizal Hasan, brings the call from courtside to gohighlanders.com. Fans may also follow the game via LiveStats.
After reeling off eight straight victories to open conference play, the Mustangs are 2-2 since. Their most recent loss was a 68-65 stunner by Cal State Northridge on Thursday.
Rachel Clancy currently paces Cal Poly with 16.1 points per game, while Abby Bloetscher is second with 11.1 points.
The Highlanders have lost two consecutive conference games for the first time all season and for the first time since they lost two to open league play last year.
In Big West play this season, UCR boasts four players averaging double figure scoring led by Alyssa Morris’ 13.0.
