Stanbury Scores Lone Point For Men's Tennis In 6-1 Loss To UC San Diego

Murrieta, CA - The UC Riverside men's tennis team lost a 6-1 decision to UC San Diego on neutral courts on Sunday afternoon.
Ryan Stanbury earned the lone point for the Highlanders in singles play, with a 7-5, 6-4 victory over Vincent Nguyen at the fourth position.
In doubles action, UCR's duo of Kevin Griffin and Felix Macherez won their match at No. 2, 8-4, but the Highlanders lost the other doubles matches at Nos. 1 and 3, giving the Tritons the doubles point.
UC Riverside now heads to Las Vegas for three matches beginning Friday, February 11 against Utah State.
