Highlanders Women's Tennis Wins One Doubles Match But Falls 7-0 At Pacific

Stockton, CA - The UC Riverside women's tennis team lost a 7-0 decision to Pacific on Saturday afternoon in Big West Conference action.

UCR's duo of Angelique Corpuz and Kate Bergeson won their doubles match 8-7 over over Gumenyuk and Te. The Highlanders could not gain the doubles point in the match, however, as UCR lost 8-1 at No. 1 and 8-3 at No. 2.

In singles action, the Highlanders did not win more than two points in a set, as the Tigers won all six to complete the sweep.

UC Riverside next plays at UC Davis on Sunday, April 10 at 11:00 am in Davis, CA.
