Day 1 Story
Mission Viejo, CA - The UC Riverside men's golf team shot a 318 third-round score on Tuesday at the Big West Championships, dropping to ninth place to conclude the event with a 938 total score.
Kevin Fitzgerald led the Highlanders with a 230 three-round score to tie for 19th place after rounds of 75-79-76.
Robbie Mamo followed up his team-leading first-day scores of 75-77 with an 81 on day three to drop back into a tie for 24th with a 233.
Both Matt Fitzgerald and Daniel Brainard tied for 39th with identical 240 totals, and Andrew Patipaksir finished in 44th with a three-round 256.
UC Davis held on to their day one lead to claim the championship, finishing with a seven-over-par 871 score. Pacific came in second with 888 followed by Cal State Northridge with 895.
The Aggies' Austin Graham won the individual crown with a six-under 210 total.
