Seattle, WA—Seth Totten finished in 28th place Friday at the NCAA West Regional Championship, leading the UC Riverside Men's Cross Country Team to a 22nd place finish out of 26 squads.
Totten's 10k time of 30:23 was a career-best, and placed him third out of the other runners from the Big West Conference.
Stanford won the team title finishing with 45 points, while Portland came in second (107) followed by UCLA in third (128).
Arizona's Lawi Lalang won the individual crown, running the 10k course in 29:02, 36 seconds ahead of the next runner.
After Totten, Cesar Solis placed 112th in a time of 31:50, while Michael Gauger was 127th in 32:26, and Carlos Lopez finished 157th in 33:07.
Benjamin Heck was two places back finishing in 159th in a time of 33:11, while Sebastian Puraci finished 174th in 34:31.
